  • Kid Krazy

This is a day that is especially for our kids (and our "kids at heart") We only have the 10:30 service that morning and invite a special guest to lead/entertain. Then following our morning service we head across the road for pork burgers & hot dogs. The lawn will be filled with things like our moonwalk, inflatables, photo booth, snow cones, cotton candy, deep fried carnival treats and more! Kids get a free Kid Krazy shirt (up to age 12) and we have a special “RESERVED” section just FOR KIDS!

  • Ice Cream Social

Sugar Grove's biggest event of the year! This is an evening for both church members and the community to enjoy hot sandwiches along with homemade ice cream and desserts. Dine indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). Entertainment is offered for both children and adults. This event is the second Saturday in July each year.

  • Fall Festival

Come dressed in your favorite costume and join us! Every year is a little different….soup cooked over the fire, hog roast, live bands, games, corn hole tournaments, prizes, lots of fun! We especially enjoy seeing what Pastor Tim comes dressed as!

  • Easter Kids Day

Our annual egg hunt of over 1500 eggs! A morning of crafts, singing, snacks and of course hunting for eggs. This is for children ages 2 through 5th grade as we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.

  • Turtle Days Parade

We love being a part of our local festival. We have had several floats in the turtle days parade. We love finding something cool to hand out to the crowd and spreading Gods love throughout the streets of Churubusco!

  • Sisterhood Auction

This is one event you won’t want to miss. the Sisterhood has held this event to raise money to help local families celebrate Christmas. The free will donation lunch takes place immediately after the second service. The auction follows lunch and is a great time of fun, fellowship, and laughs. Some things that might be available to bid on: crafty decorations, fleece blankets, Christmas candy, baked goods, gift certificates, or even services (window washing, babysitting, dessert a month, meal a month.) You can just come for lunch and make a free will donation or stay for the auction and place a bid.

  • Skating Parties & Bowling

We love to have fun together and both of these are favorite events of our congregation. There is always a special prize for beating Pastor Tim’s score in bowling!
