bible reading plan
This plan has some special features that will help you successfully build the HABIT of Bible reading into your life.
You can begin at any point in the year. To prevent the frustration of falling behind, which most of us tend
to do when following a Bible reading plan, each month of this plan gives you only twenty-five readings. Since you’ll have several “free
days” each month, you could set aside one day each week to not read at all or to catch up on any readings you may have missed in
the past week.
Each day is broken up into four categories, two in the New Testament and two in the Old Testament:
-New Testament Gospels (books dealing with the life of Christ)
-Christian living (growth of the church, how to live as a Christfollower)
-Wisdom Books (Psalms, Proverbs, etc.)
This allows you to read through the entire Bible by reading a portion each day from each of these categories. Or you can opt to
read through only the gospels this year, or any combination of categories.
We suggest that you read with a notebook and pen close by so that you can write down any insights God gives you as you read.
